I thought you would like some videogame trivia!
>The classic Nintendo game Donkey Kong was supposed to be called "Monkey Kong" but a mistranslation changed his name and his legacey. I always wonderd why he was called that!
>Mario is in Sonic the Hedgehog! In Marble Zone, at the beginning of the first act, look at that temple-thing behind you, under those big orange blocks you will see Mario's face lining the bottom of the roof. I'm serous, Try it!
>When SEGA was creating Sonic, they origionaly wanted a rabbit who would pick stuff up with his ears and throw it at the bad guys, but they moved that idea on to Ristar (I don't know how to fix that video by the way)!
>When SEGA was creating Sonic they where going to make him an armidillo!
>In Japan, more copys of Super Smash Bros. Brawl where sold then the Wii console it self!
>Some Pokemon names have meanings: Ekans backwards is Snake, and Arboc backwards is Cobra! The 3 legandary birds Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres are Artic (Cold Icey wasteland) Uno (Spanish for 1) Zap (Sound eletricity makes) Dos (Spanish for 2) Mol (Molten) Tres (Spanish for 3). Ain't that cool!
>Sonic has a comic with almost 200 issues, and it's still going!
So there's some v-game trivia for you (think I know too much about Sonic? I could tell ya more!)

Sonic Crackers
This is supposedly a Demo version for Knuckles Chaotix for the 32X, only with Sonic and Tails, freaky music, 2 "levels" one that constantly looped, and one that you could not beat and would end once the timer reached 3 minutes. Then it would take you to a strange adventure field where you could walk over holes in the ground. Sonic and Tails both held rings that where connected by a sparkley rubber band. On the debug menu for Knuckles Chaotix Mighty the Armidillo comes first, becouse he's obviously a edited Sonic sprite. But there is no tails in KC, so agian on the Debug menu after sonic is a character called ********, he flys like tails, but looks like a white Knuckles leaning backwards with a really long arm holding a brown ring. I have a video of the level dubbed Techno Tower below. Check it out, it's wierd.
StrongBads Cool Game for Attractive People!
Have you ever heard of a website called Homestarrunner.com? It's cool site full of funny flash videos. Even though the name of the site is Homestar Runner, and "Homestar" is supposed to be the main character, it's actually a guy who has a wrestling mask for a face who answers E-mails named StrongBad! People say his name, as long as his brothers, StrongBad and StrongSad, come from a fighting game for NES where you have to fight a group called "The Brothers Strong". Any way, you should check the site out, although it might not be for the youngest viewers for some minor inappropriate language, it's doggone funny once you know the characters. Check out the characters page first, then look a some old StrongBad E-Mails found under "toons".
All this is leading up to a game coming out for wii-ware. For some videos on StronBads Cool Game For Attractive People (Don't worry ugly people can play to) go to the Homestarr runner site (At the beginning of this post) and Telltalegames.com.
This game will be a point-and-click game using the wii-motes ability's, and should be really great!

Super Mario Message Solved!
I was online when I read about Super Mario 64 on Wikipedia. I looked under the section titled Rumors and read about the blurry message on the fountian in the castle courtyard. The surface textures in 64 games are blurry, but if you look carefully it seems to read "L is real 2401". There has been much debate and speculation about Luigi's playability in this game, I don't believe this is true. In my expiriance, cheats for games are discovered fast, and if there was one we'd all know about it. Some people believe the "L" is for Luigi, thus reading "Luigi is real (2401)." or "Luigi is in the game (2401)." and the meaning of "2401" remained unknown. Shortly after reading this, I went onto Google and ran a search for "L is real 2401" and found a chat where someone claimed to have figured this cryptic phrase out and provided a web aderss. According to him L (of course) means Luigi, "is real" means: "is real" (Duh), but here's the good part "2401" means 2/4/01 whitch was the release date of Paper Mario, in whitch you could play Luigi. If you asked me I'm glad it's solved, but I wish it was more exciting.

Super Mario Region Pwned
Hello, as it says in my YO! and in the Q&A I make some computer games and I wanted to tell you about my newest one, Its called Super Mario Region Pwned!
For those of you who don't know what Pwned is of even how to pronounce it it means:"Player Owned" of "beaten by the person your playing (in a video game)" and it pronounced "Poned" why you use a "W" I don't know!
So now that that is settled, let's get to my game. I called it Super Mario Region as a spoof off of Super Mario Land, World, Galaxy etc... and I put Pwned in there becouse Mario's going to pwn the koopas (or they'll pwn him!
To make this game (As with all my games) I used GameMaker7.0 witch you can get on www.yoyogames.com It's a nice peice of software that has pre-written blocks of code you place in order to make the game do what you want. You might be saying "Oh any dope can do that" and I want to say anyone can if they try, it sounds easy, BUT IT'S NOT! It takes a lot of time and thinking to do it right.
I get my music from vgmusic.com and most of my sprites from The spriters Resourse (I don't know it's web adress off the top of my head, just Google it.)
In this game I wanted to make something different from the traditional Mario costumes, so I created Ninja Mario! Ninja Mario os faster than Super Mario, can jump furthur (not higher) and throws ninja stars! I can tell you now: Mario looks funny in a ninja suit!
I posted s snapshot of the title screen for your vewing pleasure.

Sonic and The Secret Rings
I haven't told you in my first post, but when I rate games I'll do so in stars (I'm so original). I will "test" a game for several elements and give it points if it fits that fields requirements. The fields will be as follows: Good graphics, good game play/control, music, stays fun(Doesn't get boring) and any special thing in the game that's unique.
Because of my name and whatnot I find it fitting to rate Sonic And The Secret Rings (SATSR) for the Nintendo Wii (The only next-Gen system I want and will ever own for a looong time)'
Graphics:
I was pretty impressed with the graphics on this game, although they where not much compared to Sonic The Hedgehog for the 360 and PS3 they where quite impressive. My favorite moments graphics-wise in SATSR was probably the water in Dino Jungle and Pirate Storm, along with the reflections on the floor in Night Palace, and the transparent glass-like look of the Wierd place (Also part of Night Palace). I think they did good considering the graphics quality allowed with the Nintendo Wii, So it gets a star!
Game Play/ Control:
In SATSR you held the Wii Remote Sideways, you used 2 to jump and 1 to slide and to "turn" or in this case "dodge" you tilted the Wii remote. Lastly if you wanted to walk backwards you had to turn the Wii Remote so the buttons where faceing you. The game play style was vary different from other Sonic games, Sonic runs along by himself along a preset path and you help him dodge spikes, fire, walls and pots, and so much more. Over all this games control was difficult, it seemed a bit over sensitive, specially when you tipped it backwards to backstep and you would start walking backwards when you didn't want to. I could go on but there is no point in it, the controls where sometimes confusing, the preset path took out the fun of a "Freeroaming inviroment" and eventhough I like Sonic games I have to leave out this star, sorry SEGA!
Music:
Sadly the music in this game was good but the words in the songs ruined it. I found it annoying to here the words: Who's the rocking place" (Or atleast thats what it sounded like) playing over and over covering up some awesome violen music in the Evil Foundry level and to hear rapping on the final boss (I don't like rap). Yet I did like the Dono Jungle song: "In the wicked Wild" it seemed true to the Sonic music yet didn't live up to "Live & Learn" one of Sonic's best songs and also the theme from Sonic Adventure 2 for the SEGA dreamcast known better as Sonic Adventure 2 Battle for the GameCube(My other console). Sadly I can't give SATSR the star for music, even though the music itself(not the words) was good.
Stays Fun:
SATSR is fun when you start, when you beat Erazer Djin, and for a while afterwards, But then it becomes kinda monotonous. Unlike most Sonic games once you beat a level when you just get to the goal, many other challanges pop up, like: get 99 rings, don't defeat enemeys, and so on. even though it has a ton of challenges, it just kinda gets boreing after you have beaten the Erazer Djin the first time, but scince it's fun till that point I'll give it a star!
Special:
Their are some special things I want to say about this game:
>This game has voice acting (I like that in a game)
>The cut scenes look like a book (This game is based on The Arabian Nights)
>This game has a neat party mode (some people consider this a ripoff of Mario Party, but I think it's fun).
This game gets the special star!
Sonic And The Secret Rings is an allright game 3 out of 5 ain't bad, but if you hate sonic now, you'll hate him more after this game! But if you are a like the Blue Dude with the 'Tude you shouldn't pass this title up.
